Michael T. Korns
Michael is a 2006 graduate of Harvard Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Prior to relocating his practice to Westmoreland County, Michael practiced in Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Michael focuses his practice on municipal law and civil litigation, and has experience in a wide range of civil matters, tort defense, employment, class actions, election law, and business disputes. Michael has represented clients in both state and federal court in jurisdictions across the United States.
Michael is a native of Westmoreland County Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, and he is also admitted to practice in Federal Court in the District of Columbia and the Western District of Pennsylvania. He has been recognized by the DC District Court for his contributions as a member of the Court’s Pro Bono Service Panel, and also serves as board member and solicitor for the Kiski Valley Habitat for Humanity. Michael is the co-author of several articles concerning civil litigation defense, and he is a member of the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs, the Westmoreland County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Michael and his wife, Jamie, currently reside in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.
